Boeing Aerospace Xelerated

In 2022, APC was chosen by Boeing out of a field of 150 aerospace start-up companies to be part of it's Aerospace Xelerated start-up accelerator programme.

APC and Boeing/Aerospace Xelerated have announced the launch of a partnership that will provide aspirant Airline Pilots with a powerful platform from which they can progress on their journey to becoming an Airline Pilot.

This partnership with Boeing means that APC will  have access to Boeing’s industry leading strategists and other technical experts from industry, all of whom will support APC in becoming the global ‘go to’ career development, Pilot training, and employee on-boarding location for aspirant Pilots, approved training organisations (ATOs) and Airlines. Boeing supports APC because its processes will drive diversity, quality, and safety in the Airline industry.

Boeing [NYSE: BA] is welcoming ten new companies to join the third cohort of Aerospace Xelerated, its UK-based start-up accelerator whose first two groups have gone on to raise more than £50 million in additional funding and create more than 100 jobs across the country.

Start-ups using artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous technology to solve key challenges across aerospace and defence were chosen among 148 applications from around the world for the 12-week programme. The start-ups will benefit from an optional £100,000 equity investment from Boeing, introductions to a network of investors and the wider industry. A Boeing-themed week of meetings and workshops began today.

“We are proud to see Aerospace Xelerated’s continued success despite the industry headwinds of the last two years, and we are equally impressed by what our start-up alumni have been able to accomplish during this time.”

Sir Martin Donnelly, president of Boeing Europe and managing director of Boeing in the UK and Ireland
